Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care that preserves patient dignity
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning under nursing direction
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Complete required documentation and Trinity specialty competency tasks in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• License/certificate verification as part of credentialing
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing required
• Ability to complete health and screening requirements: fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, physical/health statement, Trinity color vision
• Immunization and screening requirements: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered bedside care and basic clinical skills
• Reliable vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and adherence to health screenings
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
• Comfort working in fast-paced healthcare settings with changing priorities
