Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (10-hour nights); call and holidays required (rotation every 5-6 weeks for 3-4 days)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using established protocols to support accurate diagnoses
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation safety best practices
- Provide compassionate patient care, preparing and positioning patients for scans and explaining procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to ensure timely imaging and reporting
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC and maintain clear, professional charting
- Participate in call and holiday coverage rotations to support continuous patient care
- Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate equipment concerns to biomedical or vendor support
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required (registered technologist in radiography/CT)
- BLS certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred and used on this unit
- Siemens CT experience preferred
- Ability to work Tuesday-Friday nights and participate in call and holiday rotations
- Must meet facility radius/employment restriction: candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI or Dignity) within the past year and must comply with the 50-mile radius rule
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist or CT program (ARRT-eligible/ARRT-certified preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and contrast administration
- Comfort using EPIC for charting and imaging documentation
- Skilled in patient positioning, immobilization, and safe use of CT scanners
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Ability to prioritize workload in an acute, trauma-capable setting
- Understanding of radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance
