Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents, keeping dignity and comfort first
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly to the care team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver individualized care plans
• Support admission, discharge and transfer processes with professionalism
• Coach and educate residents and families on care plans and health needs

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (North Carolina license required or eligible)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and delivering consistent, excellent care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Infection control and safe clinical procedures
• Charting in electronic health record systems and clear clinical documentation
• Time management, prioritization and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
