Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor patients and promptly communicate changes in condition to the nursing team
- Assist with activities of daily living to preserve dignity and comfort
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in the patient record
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or T-CNA credential required
- Previous travel CNA experience is a plus and shows adaptability
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (Thursday–Saturday)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility immunization policies
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong hands-on clinical skills and comfort with direct patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork in busy healthcare settings
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Awareness of infection prevention and patient safety standards
- Adaptability to new facilities and routines as a travel professional
