Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using safe techniques
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient chart
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active state CNA license or registry in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and patient assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
• Ability to take vital signs and observe/report changes in condition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
• Basic charting and documentation skills; familiarity with electronic charting is a plus
