Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams, including portable X-rays and diagnostic fluoroscopy
• Operate and maintain GE and Siemens imaging modalities, PACS, C-arm and mobile radiology units
• Chart thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to ensure complete patient records
• Provide compassionate patient care across age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Support emergency and trauma cases with calm, efficient bedside and portable procedures
• Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond to urgent imaging needs as required

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license or ability to obtain ODH license
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Radiology Technologist experience (no brand-new grads)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with GE and Siemens modalities, PACS, portable X-ray, and C-arm procedures preferred
• Comfort working in Emergency Department, trauma, and adult acute care settings
• Willingness to work every third weekend and participate in on-call rotation

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree preferred)
• ARRT certification as noted in qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient positioning and radiographic technique for diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and PACS image management
• Experience operating portable/mobile radiology units and mini C-arm
• Familiarity with trauma imaging workflows and ED priorities
• Solid understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and maintain image quality
• Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and the care team
