Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and treatments for neonatal, pediatric and acute care patients
• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment with confidence
• Deliver medication therapies and continuous nebulizer treatments per protocol
• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including BIPAP, CPT and high-flow therapies
• Support family education and communicate changes in patient status clearly and compassionately

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS, NRP and PALS required
• Minimum 2 years current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Current NICU/PICU experience strongly preferred
• Meditech documentation experience preferred by the director
• Team player, adaptable to change and comfortable in a fast-paced, tertiary care environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Acute care respiratory therapy and neonatal/pediatric respiratory care (NICU/PICU)
• Ventilator management and experience with Servo and 3100A platforms
• Familiarity with Bunnell, high flow devices, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide and Heliox
• Proficient with BIPAP, CPT and medication delivery for respiratory care
• Accurate documentation practices in Meditech and strong assessment skills
