Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional emergency nursing care in a Level 2 trauma center
• Utilize Cerner documentation system for accurate patient records
• Work with Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Maintain patient experience standards including AIDET and respectful behavior
• Update patient boards and communicate throughout visits
• Float to all sections within the Emergency Department as needed
• Collaborate with a team known for their welcoming personalities
• Serve a diverse multicultural community with over 120 languages represented

Qualifications

• Active RN license ready to rock in North Carolina
• 2+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in Emergency Department settings
• Experience in high-volume EDs with over 100,000 visits
• Teamwork mentality that shines under pressure
• Ability to coach and give real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED

Education

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing expertise in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation systems
• Experience with Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural community setting
• Patient experience focus with AIDET implementation
