Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to NICU patients with compassion and skill
• Manage mechanical ventilation and CPAP therapy for our tiniest patients
• Assist with intubation procedures and ensure airway management
• Operate advanced equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech systems
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience is required - you'll be working with our littlest patients
• BLS certification (can obtain after hire if needed)
• ACLS certification preferred (can obtain after hire if needed)
• NRP certification preferred (can obtain after hire if needed)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in NICU respiratory care and neonatal procedures
• Skilled in mechanical ventilation management and troubleshooting
• Proficient with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP therapies
• Experience with intubation assistance and airway management
• Familiarity with Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 equipment
• Ability to work with adult patients as needed
• Strong documentation skills using Meditech systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
