Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and support cardiac cath procedures including LHC, RHC and PCI to deliver excellent patient care
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and IABP during cases
• Provide safe care for ventilated patients and manage ventilator-related tasks when required
• Prepare cath lab, instrumentation and GE imaging equipment for each procedure to ensure smooth workflow
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately in Meditech EMR
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians and the cath lab team to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and support the 3-person on-call team when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (explicit requirement)
• Hands-on experience with Impella and IABP devices
• Ventilator experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for clinical documentation
• Comfort working independently and with a positive, hardworking attitude (best personality fit listed)
• Preferred: experience with vascular/peripheral intervention and EP cases

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac cath procedures: LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella and IABP
• Experience using GE imaging equipment in the cath lab environment
• Skilled in patient monitoring, sterile technique and intra-procedural support
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to function well in a 3-person procedural team
• Ability to document clearly and efficiently in Meditech
