Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (three nights per week; specific days vary and will be confirmed with scheduling)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity PCU and oncology nursing care with compassion and clinical precision
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy safely, following facility protocols and best practices
- Manage IV therapy, central lines, PICCs, arterial lines and blood product administration with expertise
- Continuously monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely interventions
- Respond as an active member of Rapid Response and Code teams when a patient needs urgent help
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity of care and clear communication
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, respiratory, PT, and social work to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and support unit initiatives to reduce falls and infections
- Float to designated oncology and med-surg units as needed while maintaining high standards of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license eligible to practice in Ohio (compact license accepted according to state rules)
- Minimum 2 years of experience at PCU/stepdown level or higher with high acuity patients
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS required; OCN and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred
- Demonstrated IV therapy and phlebotomy skills; experience with central line and arterial line management
- Proven telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) and willingness to follow facility vaccination guidelines
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Chemotherapy administration and monitoring
- Central line, PICC and peripheral IV care, plus phlebotomy
- Arterial line management and ABG interpretation
- Blood product administration and heparin protocol familiarity
- Use of Alaris pumps, PCA pumps and management of infusion drips
- Non-invasive airway support, high flow nasal cannula and tracheostomy care
- Wound care and wound VAC experience
- Familiarity with oncology populations including BMT, leukemia, hematology and surgical oncology
- Strong infection prevention practices and interdisciplinary collaboration
