Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care environment
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
- Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols consistently
- Complete required documentation and facility-specific skills checklists accurately
- Participate in orientation and skills verification prior to first shift
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification required (must submit CNA certification verification)
- BLS certification required (must submit BLS verification)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
- Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred
- Ability to complete the facility-specific skills checklist
- Submit resume and required documentation as part of application
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and hands-on clinical skills
- Experience working in acute care settings and understanding of acute care workflows
- Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge and emergency response readiness
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with interdisciplinary staff
- Awareness of infection control and patient safety practices
