Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly to support clinical decisions
• Assist nursing staff with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for each resident
• Document care activities clearly and communicate resident needs to the care team
• Support emotional and social needs through friendly interactions and engagement

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Pennsylvania CNA certification preferred or ability to obtain state certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient hygiene, toileting, feeding and mobility assistance
• Ability to take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
• Infection control and standard precautions best practices
• Basic documentation skills and clear verbal communication
• Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered care approach
