Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Assist nursing staff with transfers, mobility, and safe patient handling
- Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in condition
- Document care accurately and communicate observations to the care team
- Support mealtime, hygiene, and grooming needs with dignity and respect
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, promoting comfort and well-being
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- Active or eligible for CNA certification in North Carolina
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Infection control and proper PPE use
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, feeding and toileting assistance
- Accurate documentation and clear shift handoffs
- Empathy, patience, and effective communication with residents and staff
