Shift Type: PRN / Per Diem — flexible scheduling; shifts vary based on facility needs and clinician availability (exact days and times scheduled per assignment)
Candidate Pay Rate: $45.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans that help patients regain independence
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility tasks to enhance quality of life
- Observe, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment clearly and promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to support care continuity
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active California COTA license required
- Previous experience in skilled nursing facility or rehab setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient-centered care and therapeutic intervention techniques
- Clinical documentation best practices and timely charting
- Hands-on experience supporting ADLs and mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Familiarity with rehab and skilled nursing facility workflows
