Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour nights (overnight/weekend coverage). Primarily Friday–Sunday nights; may include additional weekend or holiday coverage as needed.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging and ensure diagnostic accuracy for a wide variety of studies
- Operate and document studies in Cerner and manage images in DR PACS
- Follow radiation safety, fluoroscopy protocols, and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
- Prepare patients for procedures, assess clinical history, obtain informed consent when applicable, and assist with IV/contrast administration
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the multidisciplinary imaging team (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound) to deliver seamless care
- Maintain and troubleshoot Phillips imaging equipment and escalate technical issues to engineering or supervision
- Provide compassionate patient care in acute settings, including trauma and high-risk OB cases when required
- Support weekend and holiday coverage and communicate effectively during handoffs
Qualifications
- California CRT (California radiologic technologist) license required
- R-credential required
- Fluoroscopy license required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT (CT certification) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology experience
- Experience with Cerner, DR PACS, and Phillips imaging equipment
- Cross-training or experience in MRI, Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), or Ultrasound is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Computed Tomography protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety principles
- PACS image management and DICOM workflows
- Electronic charting in Cerner and accurate documentation practices
- Contrast administration and IV access competency
- Patient positioning, trauma imaging, and high-acuity care awareness
- Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently overnight
