Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Saturday - Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Primary: Days, 4x10s). Schedule may include a mix of 10- and 12-hour day and night shifts; rotating shifts, weekend and holiday coverage required. Occasional on-call with a 45-minute response expectation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging exams with accuracy and patient-centered care
• Operate portable X-ray units and OEC C-Arm equipment safely in multiple clinical settings
• Position patients expertly to acquire diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Use EPIC and SECTRA PACS for efficient charting, image capture, and communication with radiologists
• Maintain radiation safety practices, wear and manage radiation badges, and use personal lead markers
• Float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portable imaging as staffing needs require
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and the imaging team to support timely patient care
• Contribute to a high-volume imaging environment while keeping quality and patient comfort front and center

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid Washington state radiology license required at time of submission
• Traveler must have license in hand at time of submittal
• Own lead markers required prior to assignment
• Radiation badge required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred
• Ability to float between departments and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

Education

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR imaging, and Portable X-ray techniques
• Familiarity with PACS (SECTRA) and EMR systems (EPIC) for charting and image management
• Experience with GE imaging systems, Shimadzu rooms, and OEC C-Arms
• Strong patient positioning skills and commitment to radiation safety
• Comfort working in acute care settings and handling high daily study volumes
• Basic IV starting skills are a plus but not required
