Shift Type: Monday-Friday (4x10 with Tuesday off), 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Day shift; Saturday coverage required as scheduled
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography with accuracy and compassion
- Operate Hologic mammography units and GE DEXA equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage daily imaging workload (approximately 26 screening studies/day) while maintaining high quality and throughput
- Use Epic and PenRad for charting and Sectra PACS for image management and communication
- Provide excellent patient care: position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and privacy
- Follow department quality control, safety, and ARRT standards, including proper documentation
- Float and cover multiple nearby locations as needed, adapting to different rooms and equipment
- Collaborate with lead techs, supervisors, and onsite radiologists for diagnostic procedures
Qualifications
- ARRT (R)(M) required and WA radiology license required at time of submittal
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
- Experience with Hologic mammography systems and GE DEXA is preferred
- Familiarity with Epic, PenRad, and Sectra PACS
- Comfort floating between locations and covering different rooms
Knowledge & Skills
- Screening and diagnostic mammography expertise
- DEXA scanning knowledge
- Proficiency with PACS (Sectra) and EMR systems (Epic, PenRad)
- Equipment familiarity: Hologic mammography and GE DEXA
- Strong patient communication and positioning skills
- Knowledge of ARRT standards, radiation safety, and quality control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy acute care setting
