Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, promoting dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) with patience and respect
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly to the clinical team
- Support resident mealtimes and ensure dietary needs and preferences are honored
- Observe, document and communicate resident status and behavior in clear, timely notes
- Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents and visitors
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to deliver person-centered care
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working with geriatric populations and assisting with ADLs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document care clearly
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong team-player mindset
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skill in safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Ability to measure and interpret basic vital signs and recognize changes
- Familiarity with infection control best practices and safe hygiene techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills; ability to follow care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
