Shift Type: Schedule varies (may include weekdays and weekends), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe mobility and assist with transfers, ensuring patient comfort and dignity
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to care plans
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-recognized) — completion of an accredited CNA program
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs, transfers, and mobility support
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of basic infection control practices and resident safety
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Strong observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
- Good time management and organization during busy shifts
