Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to detail
- Position and prepare patients for MRI exams while ensuring their comfort and safety
- Follow infection control, scanning protocols, and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to optimize imaging studies and outcomes
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any technical or safety issues promptly
- Document procedures accurately and maintain clear, timely patient records
- Complete competency testing and required checklists to meet site and Trinity standards
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Active license/certificate verification as required by the facility
- Willingness and ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass site onboarding requirements: Fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, vaccination and health screening requirements
- Comfort working evening shifts and every other weekend schedule
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of MRI safety and patient screening practices
- Skilled at patient positioning and producing diagnostic-quality MRI images
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner, especially for anxious or claustrophobic patients
- Familiarity with MRI protocols and ability to follow physician/radiologist instructions
- Detail-oriented documentation and ability to work within clinical workflows
