Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform quality CT scans and basic X-ray exams in the ER/OP setting with patient safety top of mind
• Operate GE imaging equipment and optimize image quality for accurate diagnoses
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication during imaging procedures
• Collaborate with the ED and radiology team as a dependable single tech on shift
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment readiness
• Support continuous improvement by sharing feedback and best practices with the team

Qualifications

• Active XR (Radiography) registry required
• Active CT registry required
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in CT/X-ray or equivalent ER/OP imaging experience
• Comfortable working independently as the one tech per shift in an ED setting
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and patient-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiography program or equivalent
• ARRT certification/registry in Radiography (XR) and CT

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with CT and basic X-ray exams in emergency/outpatient settings
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment
• Comfortable using Meditech electronic medical record
• Excellent patient positioning and radiation safety knowledge
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced unit
