Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and safety equipment
- Document care and resident interactions accurately and respectfully
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and dignified living environment for every resident
Qualifications
- GNA certification (Class: GNA) — this role is seeking Geriatric Nursing Assistants
- Comfort and experience working with older adult populations in long-term care settings
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift as scheduled
- Willingness to complete facility-required health screenings and background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with geriatric care principles and compassionate patient support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents and families
- Basic charting and documentation skills to record resident care accurately
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Teamwork mindset and the ability to follow nursing plans and care directions
