Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift) — specific days vary; confirm schedule with recruiter

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures for residents
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming) while preserving dignity
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility procedures for charting
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — North Carolina certification preferred or eligible
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working evening shifts and standing/walking for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care techniques and transfer/positioning assistance
- Vital signs assessment and documentation
- Infection control practices and proper PPE use
- Patient safety, fall prevention, and body mechanics
- Electronic or paper charting and accurate record keeping
- Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff and families
