Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while encouraging independence
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and vital signs
- Support infection control and facility safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of assignment
- Comfortable working the evening 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and required health clearances
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Good time management and reliable attendance
