Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, day shift (days to be confirmed with scheduling team)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, helping with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Support activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Communicate effectively with the care team and families to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans and facility policies
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or eligible to obtain CNA certification in North Carolina)
- Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus but new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Confident in taking and recording vital signs
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Knowledge of basic infection control practices
- Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills with residents and staff
