Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day). Note: 40 hours/week; call one day per week and every 5th weekend required. Day shift consistent schedule with occasional call/weekend coverage.

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including PET/CT and SPECT imaging with attention to patient safety
- Manage radiation safety protocols and wear/monitor dosimetry badge as required
- Provide compassionate patient care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and monitor during imaging
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment such as Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM; participate in training as needed
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC and follow charting best practices
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure timely, high-quality imaging services
- Adhere to facility policies including strict fingernail/artificial nail policy in patient care areas
Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required for submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Valid driver's license required at time of submittal (used to confirm radius eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred
- DOT certification preferred at start of contract and required if extended (within 90 days)
- Willingness to comply with facility-specific policies and radius/employment restriction rules
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent clinical training
- CNMT certification (NMTCB) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of radiation safety principles and dosimetry
- Hands-on experience or willingness to be trained on PET/CT and gamma camera/SPECT systems
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and electronic medical records
- Strong patient communication and positioning skills
- Ability to follow protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and work within acute care workflows
- Detail-oriented approach to quality control and imaging protocols
