Shift Type: Full-time daytime schedule with primary clinic and endoscopy sessions; manageable on-call coverage approximately every 8th week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures using a wide range of techniques
- Deliver excellent, patient-centered clinical care across outpatient and procedural settings
- Coordinate seamlessly with hospital, ASC and office teams to ensure smooth patient care transitions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of physicians and staff to support high-quality outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement, practice innovation and team-based workflows
- Contribute to a welcoming, professional culture that supports colleagues and patients
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology (explicit requirement)
- Proven skill in endoscopic procedures and advanced endoscopic techniques
- Experience or comfort working within hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environments
- Strong teamwork and collaborative practice mindset
- Eligibility to practice medicine in Michigan is expected
Education
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency and gastroenterology fellowship
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in gastroenterology and endoscopy procedures
- Familiarity with advanced endoscopic techniques and technologies
- Ability to coordinate care across hospital, ASC and outpatient settings
- Patient-centered communication and shared decision-making
- Team-oriented approach and professional collaboration
