Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of advanced endoscopic procedures using up-to-date techniques and technology
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based clinical care to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with a skilled, six-physician gastroenterology team to deliver coordinated care
- Coordinate seamlessly with hospital, ASC, and office teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes
- Participate in an equitable call rotation (coverage anticipated every 8th week)
- Drive quality improvement and innovation to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes
- Contribute to a collegial culture that supports mentorship, professional development, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained in Advanced Endoscopy (required)
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology or TRULY Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 2 years if not yet certified)
- Physicians with lapsed board certification are not being considered
- US work authorization required — not accepting visa candidates
- Permanent placement only — locum tenens candidates are not being considered
Education
- MD or DO degree
- Completed Gastroenterology fellowship and additional fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced endoscopy and a comprehensive range of endoscopic techniques
- Strong gastroenterology clinical knowledge and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to coordinate care across hospital, ASC, and office environments
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and professional conduct
- Commitment to innovation, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
- Comfort with a collaborative practice model and supportive call structure
