Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, primarily nights and weekends — 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night) and 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day). Typically 5-10 shifts per month, with coverage across nights and weekends (day/night rotating coverage).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medicine care to patients across both O'Bleness and Cambridge sites
• Lead and collaborate with APPs and the multidisciplinary ED team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Document thoroughly and efficiently using Meditech EMR to maintain continuity and compliance
• Cover assigned 12-hour shifts (day and night) and be available for weekend coverage as scheduled
• Participate in credentialing and onboarding activities to meet the 90-day credentialing timeline
• Contribute to a physician-led culture focused on clinical excellence and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with demonstrable EM experience
• Willingness and availability to work 12-hour shifts, primarily nights and weekends (minimum ~5 shifts/month consistently)
• Comfortable providing care across two sites (O'Bleness and Cambridge) as needed
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is preferred and will help with efficient documentation
• Experience collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and working in a team-based ED

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Emergency Medicine clinical skills and decision-making
• Experience with Meditech EMR for charting and order entry
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a 16-bed ED environment
• Comfort working 12-hour shifts and covering nights and weekends
• Familiarity with credentialing processes and independent practice requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a physician-led organization
