Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the chart
• Assess patients, report changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team
• Support safe patient transfers and assist with activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively during handoffs
• Promote a calm, healing environment overnight while prioritizing patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in long-term care or acute care preferred but new grads encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/Vocational Nursing diploma)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic nursing assessments and medication administration
• Comfortable with charting in electronic medical records
• Skilled at prioritizing tasks during busy night shifts
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Good critical thinking and patient safety awareness
