Shift Type: Per Diem, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift, schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Support meal service and help residents with feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Follow care plans and infection control practices to keep residents safe
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent required
- State registration or licensure for nursing assistants as applicable
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in geriatric care
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort and experience working with elderly populations
- Basic patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Good observational skills and the ability to report changes clearly
- Team-oriented mindset and professional bedside manner
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction under supervision
