Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to the nursing team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, bathing, grooming, and feeding while preserving dignity
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies consistently
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification in good standing
- Valid CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain if required
- Comfortable working with geriatric residents and supporting ADLs
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet the physical demands of the role
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident rights
- Skill in assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
- Good interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
