Shift Type: Per diem / Varies, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift, non-overnight)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record resident condition and vital signs, reporting changes promptly
- Support mobility and safe transfers with proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
- Collaborate with the nursing team to carry out individualized care plans
- Encourage social engagement and emotional well-being for each resident
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- Registered on the appropriate state nursing assistant registry or eligible for registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered care
- Proficiency assisting with activities of daily living and basic medication observation
- Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
- Skill in safe resident handling and fall prevention
- Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
