Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report findings promptly
• Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Assist with activities of daily living and help maintain resident dignity
• Participate in care planning and contribute practical, solution-focused input
• Support a positive, home-like environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure (eligible to practice in New Mexico preferred)
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care basics, and routine nursing procedures
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous long-term care or rehab experience preferred but not required

Education

• Completed Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in clinical nursing assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
• Basic wound care and ADL support techniques
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
• Good time management, prioritization, and compassionate communication
