Shift Type: Variable days, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to older adults, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and proper use of mobility aides to reduce fall risk
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Promote a warm, home-like environment by engaging residents in conversation and activities
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated ability to work nights and adapt to per diem scheduling
- Strong observational skills and clear communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient-centered demeanor with a commitment to elder care
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe resident handling
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and charting accuracy
- Understanding of infection control standards and PPE use
- Ability to follow care plans and implement nurse-directed interventions
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
