Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding with dignity
- Support safe transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk and promote independence
- Observe and document resident conditions and changes, reporting concerns to the licensed nursing team
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care that honors each resident's preferences
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to coordinate care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current state-required credentials or registration as applicable
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with assisting older adults and understanding age-related needs
- Basic nursing assistant skills: vital signs, ADLs, safe transfers
- Accurate documentation and charting of care provided
- Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with nursing staff
