Shift Type: Night, 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4 nights/week); weekends every other week; night shift (NOC)
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias promptly to guide clinical interventions
- Provide high-quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care with a patient-first mindset
- Administer IV therapy, blood products, and manage central/PICC lines safely and competently
- Manage tracheostomies, feeding tubes, and respiratory supports including HFNC and nasal cannula
- Support patients requiring hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis and manage related care (pre/post dialysis)
- Perform wound care and manage Wound VAC therapy when indicated
- Respond as an effective member of Rapid Response and Code teams to stabilize patients
- Document thoroughly in Epic and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team (pharmacy, PT, RT, transport, etc.)
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain safe patient ratios (1:5-6) and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending licenses are not accepted) — NC licensure expected or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience (telemetry-specific experience required)
- Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS strongly preferred
- Comfort with floating between like units as needed
- Ability to work night shifts and every-other-weekend scheduling
- Current flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption per facility policy
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- IV therapy, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs
- Blood product administration and central line/PICC line care
- Tracheostomy care, high-flow nasal cannula, and basic respiratory support
- Hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis care and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
- Feeding tube care and management
- Chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac) and wound care/Wound VAC
- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams and emergency response protocols
- Isolation precautions/PPE and infection control practices
- Strong documentation skills in Epic and effective interdisciplinary communication
