Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Offer direction, consultation, and problem-solving for patient care and continuity of operations
• Communicate and escalate concerns that may compromise patient care to department leadership
• Support staff development through collaboration with clinical educator and informatics nurse
• Lead and participate in quality, patient safety, and professional development activities
• Ensure the unit environment remains efficient, compliant, and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license — Nursys verification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• At least 3 years of nursing experience (required)
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience (required)
• Comfort with clinical documentation and partnership with informatics/education teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical supervision and staff development
• Direct patient care and clinical decision-making
• Quality improvement and patient safety focus
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment
• Familiarity with clinical education and informatics processes
