Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate critical care to adolescent through geriatric patients in a 10-bed ICU
• Manage ventilated patients and perform ventilator management, ensuring safety and best practices
• Monitor hemodynamics and titrate vasoactive drips and IV infusions with precision
• Care for patients with arterial lines and respond to acute changes quickly and confidently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and regional partners to deliver high-quality trauma and critical care
• Serve as a resource on unit protocols; step into charge or preceptor roles when called upon
• Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain timely medical/occupational health compliance

Qualifications

• Active RN license (New Hampshire required; compact allowed) and ability to provide license with submission
• Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (required)
• EPIC experience (required)
• Arterial line experience (required)
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Proficiency with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV drips/infusions and vasoactive medications
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience is a plus
• Own reliable vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Ability to upload required compliance documents within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing principles and level III trauma care
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Mechanical ventilation management and troubleshooting
• Vasoactive medication titration and drip management
• Arterial line care and waveform interpretation
• Proficient documentation in EPIC and clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to float to PCU and adapt to varying patient acuity
