Shift Type: Day shifts — 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (exact start/end times not specified). On-call required: 10 days per month (4 of those must be weekends — Fri/Sat/Sun).

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care during Cath Lab procedures and interventions
- Monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms closely, intervening quickly when needed
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique
- Administer medications and assist the interventional team per protocols
- Respond to on-call notifications promptly and provide safe, effective care
- Document assessments, interventions and patient progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, techs and support staff to optimize procedural flow and patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery and post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (eligible to work in California; license verification required)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- DCI/BVP and NIHSS certifications (listed as required)
- On-call availability and willingness to cover required weekend on-call days
- Prior Cath Lab or interventional cardiac experience preferred
- Successful completion of facility screening: drug screen, TB/PPD, immunizations and fit testing
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and Cath Lab procedures
- Proficient in patient monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry
- Skilled in sterile technique, procedural prep and intra-procedure support
- Strong assessment, triage and emergency response abilities (ACLS-ready)
- Comfortable with electronic documentation and Prime competency testing requirements
