Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and produce high-quality diagnostic images to support patient care
• Process and transmit images to PACS accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with radiologists and the multi-disciplinary team during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Position and prepare patients with care and attention to safety and comfort
• Operate mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment as needed
• Maintain radiation safety practices and adhere to state and facility protocols
• Document procedures and maintain required records, including license/cert verification

Qualifications

• Valid CT license as required by state regulations
• ARRT (CT) certification (CT ARRT required per state effective 07/01/2015)
• Fluoroscopy permit (where required by state)
• BCLS/BLS (AHA) current upon hire
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography/CT program
• Minimum one year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills and experience with PACS/image processing
• Willingness to complete required health screens and immunizations (COVID-19, TB, MMR, Hep B, influenza, Varicella, Tdap) and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging principles and protocols
• Image processing and transmission to PACS
• Strong anatomy knowledge and medical terminology
• Radiology procedures and patient positioning
• Radiation safety and dose management
• Experience with mobile and stationary radiographic equipment
• Fluoroscopy workflow and safety
• Comfortable using clinical computer systems and software
