Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult patients in an ICU setting
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced clinical judgment
• Operate and manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
• Administer medications safely and document interventions accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatments, and recovery plans with compassion
• Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ability to verify via Nursys
• Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, Hepatitis B, TB testing or PPD documentation)
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings including fit test and a minimum 10-panel drug screen
• Willingness to complete Prime competency exams and skills checklists prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making
• Proficient with rhythm interpretation and basic advanced cardiac life support
• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic support
• Comfortable with IV medication administration and titrations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Prime competency testing and readiness processes
