Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered critical care using the full nursing process — assess, plan, implement and evaluate
- Deliver direct ICU care and manage complex hemodynamic monitoring for critically ill patients
- Communicate clinical changes and abnormal results promptly with physicians and the care team
- Lead and guide patient and family education to support recovery and informed decisions
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response
- Maintain strict patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure with Nursys verification required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DCI/BVP (listed as required)
- Comfortable and experienced in critical care/ICU environments; able to manage hemodynamic monitoring and complex patients
- Willingness to complete required onboarding checklist items (drug screen, immunizations, fit test, skills exams)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in critical care and ICU nursing principles
- Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Proficient with nursing process documentation and patient education
- Rhythm interpretation and basic pharmacology knowledge (Prime exams required)
- Ability to function well under pressure and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
