Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to geriatric residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and assistive device use to prevent falls and injuries
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow care plans
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to create a warm, person-centered environment
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent (CNA credentials accepted)
- CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working with older adults and those with complex care needs
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous long-term care or geriatric experience preferred but motivated new grads welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved GNA program or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and safety practices
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
