Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations to identify patient needs and strengths
- Deliver compassionate daily clinical treatments to help patients regain communication and swallowing function
- Plan and coordinate safe, efficient discharges in partnership with the care team
- Document progress and maintain timely, accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with an incredible multidisciplinary therapy team to provide coordinated care
- Follow CRG policies and procedures and meet productivity expectations to support quality patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active SLP state license or ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico
- 1-3 years of clinical experience (prior SNF experience is strongly preferred)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or equivalent certification
- Current professional credentials in good standing and ability to comply with facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working in a skilled nursing facility and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; relevant Bachelor’s degree with appropriate certification considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, clinical treatments, and discharge planning
- Experience with SNF workflows, resident-centered care, and documentation
- Strong clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with productivity expectations and facility policies
