Shift Type: Weekends (variable), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Day shifts (12-hour), rotating weekends; weekend-focused schedule with variable assignments
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inpatient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver neuro and ortho patient evaluations and evidence-based treatments
- Provide acute care interventions for Ortho, Telemetry and ICU patients
- Manage wound care as part of interdisciplinary patient care
- Document patient care accurately and timely in Meditech
- Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and professional standards at all times
Qualifications
- Active Texas PT license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of hospital or inpatient rehab experience (Wound Care experience required)
- Experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, neuro and ortho preferred
- Comfortable working weekends and floating to meet unit needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and manual therapy skills for neuro and ortho populations
- Experience with wound care protocols and documentation
- Proficiency documenting in Meditech
- Ability to work effectively in ICU/telemetry/acute care settings
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced hospital environment
