Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (3 x 8-hour night shifts, every weekend)
Hours per Week: 24
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to geriatric patients in long term/transitional care
- Perform central line blood draws and dressing changes with strict adherence to infection control
- Start and maintain IVs and manage IV pumps safely and efficiently
- Deliver wound care, including wound vac management and drain (JP/Hemovac) care
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned, coordinating patient assignments and unit flow
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in NetSolutions charting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (PT, pharmacy, social services, radiology) to support patient outcomes
- Float between units as needed to meet census and staffing needs
Qualifications
- Active LPN license preferred; pending license accepted (confirm with recruiter)
- Minimum 2 years of skilled Long Term Care / Transitional Care nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Current BCLS certification required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Demonstrated experience with central line blood draws and dressing changes
- Proven skills starting and maintaining IVs and operating IV pumps
- Ability to reliably provide your own transportation and meet weekend schedule requirements
Education
- Completion of accredited practical/vocational nursing program and LPN licensure
- BCLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- IV therapy and phlebotomy expertise
- Central line care and blood draws
- Wound care including wound vac and drain management
- Familiarity with IV pumps and pump troubleshooting
- Charting proficiency with NetSolutions
- Comfort managing high patient ratios typical of LTC/TCU settings
- Strong communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary environments
- Ability to float between long term care and transitional care units
