Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care on Med-Surg and PCU units
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and acute events
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Support unit efficiency and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Nursing License required prior to starting the contract
• Registered Nurse with Med-Surg or PCU experience preferred
• Ability to work consecutive weekends and 12-hour rotating shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in Med-Surg and progressive care (PCU) patient needs
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Comfort with rotating day/night schedules and weekend coverage
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience managing multiple patients and prioritizing care
