Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Lead and Senior Technologists to ensure excellent patient care and team performance
- Oversee image quality control and enforce departmental policies and procedures
- Manage daily staffing needs to meet productivity targets and budget goals
- Promote staff development, employee satisfaction, and apply progressive discipline when appropriate
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, ACR, Title 17 & 22)
- Perform and/or assist with diagnostic imaging procedures and educate patients, families, students, and staff
- Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and care teams to resolve issues and improve service
- Monitor departmental function, report on levels of care and satisfaction, and recommend resource allocations
Qualifications
- Minimum five years as a working Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist in an acute-care setting
- At least two years supervisory experience in an acute-care setting
- Associate Degree (minimum)
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by CA Department of Health Services OR ARRT license
- Current CPR certification
- Desired: prior supervisory/managerial experience (3-5 years) and certification in a specialized area (NMTBC, MRI, etc.)

- Associate Degree (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure
- Proven ability in image quality control, quality assurance, and radiation protection/physics
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance (Joint Commission, ACR, Title 17 & 22)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, delegation, and leadership skills
- Experience with human resources processes, performance improvement, and resource management
- Ability to teach and mentor staff, students, and other departments
